Today I tried for a 2nd time to spin wool on my Navajo spindle. The first try, earlier this week, was horrible. The left side is my 2nd spun wool and the right is my 3rd. The one on the right is what I filmed myself making. I'm starting to get the hang of it. Oh, I also did not use a leader!!! I wanted to learn how to spin it on my Navajo spindle because my arm gets tired using the drop spindle after a while.

ReplyDeletei agree with Maureen, very cool. and the Coyote Grace music is very soothing. so you are spinning the wool by hand and then rolling it on the "navajo spindle"? that is very neat, Kristy!
