I only wish we saw as much insect life on our walks as you've captured with your camera here! My bug-lovin' daughter is getting tired of slugs (which are in abundance here in Western Washington). Great photos, by the way!
I love taking pictures of bugs. The best ones are the ones that I wouldn't have seen unless I had stopped to take a closer look at a flower or plant. Once I didn't even see a bug until I looked at the picture. Our nature walks are really an excuse to take pictures of plants and insects. :)
Not sure, but it's a big one. This weather has been great hasn't it! Glad to see you are enjoying the summer!

ReplyDeleteThat's a hummingbird moth. I first saw one last summer, on my butterfly bush. Haven't seen one this year... yet.
