Gift Making

Last Wednesday during the library class that I taught I made this small fused gift bag. I like how the "Thank You" is running sideways down the front.

Last night I finished knitting the 3rd ornament. This morning I finished stuffing and sewing all 3. They are a little big. Next time I'll use a smaller needle. The pattern called for a size 6 needles and I used a size 4. Now to make 2 more to reach my goal of 7. The free pattern can be found on Lion Brand's website.

  1. I was asked today if Lion Brand could use 2 of my ornament pictures on their ravelry pattern page for it. Awesome! http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/holiday-ornament-81008ad

  2. I really like the "thank you" bag. It would make a great gift bag which you could fill it up with goodies as a thank-you-gift item. And your Christmas ornaments are so cute. You could even tie them onto a package at Christmas instead of a store bought ribbon.

  3. Thats a great idea Cindy. If I don't make enough for a set, then I will try that with the ornaments. I need to make more of those "thank you" gift bags to have on hand. It's nice to have gift bags readily available.
