Remember the reporter that came to my house last week? Well the article that she wrote about me was in today's issue of the Lowell Sun newspaper. At the end of the article she mentions a website. The website is actually Cindy's blog at www.myrecycledbags.com. She is going to change it to my blog soon. Its kind of funny. I can see how she could have made the mistake since Cindy works a lot with plarn to. However I don't remember giving her that website. Weird but funny.
Here are the two skeins of Lion Brand's Fisherman's Wool that I dyed with Kool Aid yesterday. I used red, orange, and purple on one and green, yellow, and blue on the other. I started knitting a cabled cowl with the wool that I won at the auction (that was Kool Aid dyed by the 3rd graders at my church).

ReplyDeletethats so great kristy, congratulations. I noticed that in her article she mistakenly called it 'yarn' instead of 'plarn' but oh well, I think it is great exposure and you are surely an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThanks :) (((Blush))) There were a few other mistakes as well, but they really didn't matter. Like Hallmark, their bags are actually purple. I went out and bought 5 of the newspapers today. One for me and the others are for family. The reporter was a very nice woman.
