Juice Pouches Galore

Yesterday and today I made several juice pouch items.  I started 5 yesterday, and I finished 8 today.

One of the items was this backpack that I was commissioned to make.

A few of the items are not pictured, because they are christmas presents.

Here is a small container.

This will be up for sale in a craft fair in November.

Here are 3 pouches.  You can put pencils, knitting needles, crochet hooks, make-up, and other items in them.

These will also be for sale at the November craft fair.

This is a new items for me, a change purse.

What is really great is that all the zippers used came from a going out of business sale that I went to in the Spring.  I wasn't sure what I was going to do with all of the zippers at the time, especially since most of them are smaller than what I normally need.  I am also going to try my hand at making zipper flowers with some of them.

* I did not link any tutorials for these items, but they are on my blog.  Just do a search for juice pouches (top left is the search engine). More specifically, juice pouch backpack, juice pouch container, and juice pouch pencil.

  3. I've never seen crochet added to them before. That sounds really interesting. You have a great weekend to.

  4. LOVE the juice pouches!!

Thanks for making me feel like I'm not crazy for ranting about paper towels!! I heard that too that around the 50s they were looking for new ideas to create jobs (is how I heard it) and so the "wonderful" world of disposables was born. Companies have just taken it too far! I feel like they're all trying to scare us into believing everything is super dirty!
