Its around midnight and I just finished making these 2 catnip balls for my cat and a friend's cats. We are cat sitting for Christmas. I used the same mistletoe ornament pattern to make these balls. I crochet 2 strands at once to make it more dense so that the catnip wouldn't fall out. You crochet the the whole "ball" pattern, then insert a funnel to put the catnip inside. I used the yarn ends to sew it closed.
This is my cat. He loves his new Christmas toy.
This is one of the cats that we are cat sitting. He couldn't care less about the catnip while I was in the room. However we heard some noise coming from the room after I had left. Hopefully they like their Christmas present.
