Saturday, July 31st was Harry Potter's birthday. Our local library had a party for it. We left the house to late to see Dumbledore's Army preform. However we weren't to late to make some crafts and eat some cake.
This paper shopping bag was transformed into a cape. I drew a star with glue on it, and my son laid sequence on the glue.
He then glued sequence to one side of a goodie bag. The other side of it he had colored on with markers.
He also got this cute little pencil broom You take some straw or raffia and tie it around a pencil. Then tie a ribbon around it for a nice finishing touch. They also made magic wands by taking a large pretzel, dipping it in chocolate, and then dipping it in sprinkles.
He loves his new cape.
