Last night I made these two ornaments from lionbrand's free pattern. The first one I used a size G hook and two strands of yarn. It is way to big (11 inches). I'll probably hang it from a door knob around Christmas time. The 2nd one I used a size F hook and only one strand of yarn (8 inches). I think that the next time I'll use a size 2 or 3 hook and crochet thread so that it will be much smaller.
