Valentine's Pull Tab Heart Bracelet

Yesterday I made this heart pull tab bracelet for someone for Valentine's Day.  I am participating in a Valentine's swap.  My partner does not know that I have her.  Four of the hearts were made using soda tabs.  The larger red heart in the center was made using large pull tabs that I got off of canned fruit.
I plan on making myself one for my medical alert bracelet, but with some pink hearts.  Below is a segment from my local access t.v. show where I show how to make a pull tab heart.

I use a size 3 crochet hook (tiny) and crochet thread.  I tried using sock yarn once, but it was harder to use for this project.  First you single crochet into the top hole, filling it with stitches.  Then you place another tab on top of it, at an angle, with the bottom holes on top of one another.  Then you single crochet into both bottom holes.  Next you single crochet around the 2nd tab's top hole.  End it by slip stitching into the first tab.  If you want to do a 2nd round, then single crochet into the next 3 or 4 stitches.  Then half double crochet into the rest of the stitches.  When you reach the bottom of the heart, half double crochet into the bottom stitch 3 times.  Single crochet into the last 3 or 4 stitches of the 2nd round.  Slip stitch into the 1st stitch to end it.  Weave in the ends.

For the bracelet, I used the yarn ends to connect the hearts and bracelet clasps together.
